Day 1. - Arequipa – Base Camp (5200 m)/17,056ft
At 8:00 a.m. we depart from their hotels and after 3 hours we will be at the starting point of the hike (4,900 m)/16,072ft. From here we start to climb slowly for about 2 hours of walking. Then we will arrive at the Base Camp at (5,200 m) and we will install our camp, and then we will have lunch and enjoy the beautiful sunset of the mountain.
Day 2. - Base Camp – Summit Attempt Chachani (6057 m) – Arequipa
At 1:00 a.m. we get up and have our breakfast and start with the attempt of Summit, at 2:00 a.m. we slowly start the ascent towards the Summit (6,057m). In the course of 6 hours, you can see a beautiful sunrise. After observing the landscape, resting and taking pictures, we will begin the return to the Base Camp, which will take approximately 3 hours. After lunch, we will descend for 2 more hours, where the vehicle that will take us back to the city of Arequipa will wait for us.
