Itinerary description:

 Huaraz – Lake Llanganuco At (3850m) – Huaraz

Breakfast at 8:00 am departure at 9:00 am

After your breakfast we are going to pick up you at your hotel with our touristic transportation to drive to the north of Huaraz city, along the rich callejon de huaylas valley, we make stop at anta to focus the most impressive view of Andes; including the exiting western Peru’s the highest peak Huascaran Mountain at (22,2059ft).

After that we continuing driving until old yungay, today well known as campo santo, old Yungay was destroyed by earthquake in 1970, it was the most terrible hazard in this region, where about 70 thousand people disappeared and died.

Then we drive to the east on the dirt road from yungay wind over 28 km on the way we will pass through the Andean villages,until reach llanganuco valley, where is located two stunning glacier Lakes llanganuco, which is lies between the northern flank of Huascaran and southern flank of huandoy, its over 3850 m, it has turquoise green and light blue waters, Nestled in a glacial valley just 1000m below the snow line, these pristine lagoons practically glow under the sun in their bright turquoise and emerald. After visiting the lake we come back to caraz, on the way back we will enjoy having lunch, where we are trying tasty Andean food, which is made with Andean products. In the afternoon we will visit caraz, where we enjoy trying delicious fruit sweet and ice cream made of fruit, finally we come back to huaraz. We will return about 7 pm
